An established company operating in the medical sphere is looking for a Debtor’s Manager to join their operations department and manage the debtors departments and staff for Vermaak and Namibia – approx. 60 staff in total.

The main purpose of this position:

  • plan, organise, direct and manage the functions of the Debtors Department (specifically the Medical Aid, (Private Collections and Call Centre sections)
  • will communicate results to management on a monthly basis to enable the appraisal of the department’s performance against targets
  • will develop, implement, and modifies policies and systems within the department

  • Excellent staff management / Developing skills – essential
  • Strong computer skills are essential with an advanced excel knowledge
  • Good verbal and written communication skills – essential
  • Good report writing skills
  • Attention to detail and strong numerical ability
  • Good interpersonal relationship

QUALIFICATIONS  AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • 3 Year Financial degree or diploma is essential
  • A minimum of 5-10 years relevant experience.
