Our client, well established in the insurance industry with offices based in the Cape Winelands, is looking for a Strategic Business Development Executive to take their company to new heights.

Your main role will be to head up new business development distribution channels and to manage the company’s business development to ensure consistent and rapid growth in sales across new distribution channels.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Long-Term Insurance industry. Preferably in a role as Distribution Manager, or Regional or National Sales Manager, or equivalent 5 years relevant senior management experience
  • Proven track record of opening new distribution channels
  • Proven track record of delivery on growth in turnover
  • A sound knowledge of financial services products, distribution models and role players are required
  • Relevant undergraduate degree and / or CFP qualification (min NQF7) or equivalent
  • FAIS RE1 and RE5 exam
  • Results-proven track record of exceeding goals and a bottom-line orientation; evidence of the ability to consistently make good decisions through a combination of analysis, experience, and judgement; the ability to balance the delivery of programs against the realities of a budget; problem-solving, project management, and creative resourcefulness
