An exciting position has opened up in Johannesburg with an established packaging company working in the FMCG industry. Reporting to the Regional Director, this role forms part of the Senior Executive Team responsible for the Gauteng Operation.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

  • Provide systematic, tactical, and strategic coordination of supply chain activities, including;
    procurement, raw materials, planning, work-in-progress, finished goods, distribution, ensuring a reliable and smooth flow within the chain
  • Manage raw material stock
  • Monitor and investigate material wastages
  • Manage finished goods inventory in accordance with Polyoak practices
  • Prepare and adhere to budgets
  • Add value to internal and external customers
  • Provide statistical information and strategic advice to the Executive Team
  • Develop trust and collaboration between internal and external customers
  • Coach, manage and train team and foster team spirit.
  • Positively contribute to a healthy work environment

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Preferable CA (SA)
  • Alternatively, BCom Hons Supply Chain (or relevant discipline)
  • 8 – 10 years managerial experience
  • Excellent co-ordination, organization and communication skills
  • Computer literacy (excellent Excel and SAP experience)
  • Outstanding numeracy skills
